Oi! So I've got a brand new Bass music single that I just wrote in my new studio in China called Discover Your Porpoise and I'm giving it away on Bandcamp as a pay what you want tune. All money from this download is going towards porpoise conservation efforts in China, the San Francisco Bay Area and to help sustain coral reef life globally.

This single is the first release off a new album called 和平之道 He Ping Zhi Dao which means The Way of Peace. I've had a pretty rocky career and life in the music business before moving to Asia and had a lot of ups and downs, was very rough around the edges and created a lot of disharmony in my life at times. Changing the world begins with changing yourself. When you create peace within yourself you can extend that to your home, your neighbourhood, your community and your whole world.

The philosophy is simple: wake up every day day trying to leave your environment, the people and creatures and places around you a little better than you found them. Be mindful of the products you consume and the pollution you create. Minimize it. Choose paper or cloth over plastic. Go for less packaging. Buy a sandwich or a hot dog for a hungry looking person or stray dog you run into on the way home. Smile at strangers, help an old lady get her cart on or off the bus. A million examples but the idea is easy: don't be a dick.
